Sailing to America: Teen to bring her climate activism to US

Greta Thunberg, the Swedish teenager whose social media-savvy activism has inspired tens of thousands of students in Europe to skip classes and protest for faster action against climate change, plans to take her message to America the old-fashioned way: by boat. The 16-year-old tweeted Monday that she'll sail across the Atlantic aboard a high-tech racing yacht, leaving Britain next month.

Pakistan: Karachi airspace partially shut till Aug 31

Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Wednesday issued a notice to airmen (NOTAM), closing the three routes of Karachi airspace from August 28 to August 31, reported Dunya News. All international flights have been asked to avoid three aviation routes in the Karachi airspace as per the NOTAM. The CAA has not given any reason for the closure.
